The University for International Cooperation (UCI) signed a cooperation agreement with the National Union of Local Governments (UNGL), to strengthen and modernize the traditional models municipal management. And it is developing workshops on integrated waste management and project preparation and administrative career and municipal plans, to attract financial resources to facilitate modernization in the municipalities.
Because the field of municipal management and has become obsolete and requires internal and administrative changes and policy and process through the main parts of the new concept of modernization, political autonomy, financial, administrative and institutional structure which mayors, councilmen, trustees and staff should understand.
With the opening of training places to local authorities, municipal staff and others involved, to start a process orientation, training and information on a number of changes to be faced in the short and medium term through decentralization and modernization strategy, with factors that drive changes and the direction of what to aim and the various ways of coping, is the purpose of signing the agreement UNGL UCI.
