ICU specialist program in Management of social development projects
The University for International Cooperation (UCI), began in May with the program management specialist in social development projects, to provide through its virtual platform and approximately 28 weeks to professionals can understand and evaluate different models of development project, to promote development in Latin America, increasing its efficiency in performance, resources, accountability, among many others.
Directed to staff of NGOs to achieve sustainable development, municipal officials, or public or private companies that have responsibility for decision making, formulation and management of development projects, as well as professionals diverse backgrounds, from public or private organizations who choose to specialize in the process of formulation and project management, consultants, advisors and academics involved in the sector cooperation.
The methodology involves case studies, short essays, writing research papers and reports, as well as interaction and communication of students and teachers through an internal email, chat room and forum theme .
The specialist will identify the main sources of funding and action alternatives for development and the project life cycle and factors bearing on the execution. With a proper analysis of the various concepts, theories and practices of corporate social responsibility, particularly in Latin America.
addition, participants who pass the specialization with a grade equal to or greater than 85 may credit 10 credits for Master of Project Management in the ICU, by proficiency examination process.
The investment for this course is $ 1250, but UCI has partial scholarships.
